It's MUCH easier to build up block than it is to build up poison or strength, and Entrench doesn't exhaust, which is really nice.
You could technically do this with an Ironclad strength build, but I think Body Slam is the way to go. Similar idea, really you need to abuse the insane scaling that comes with "double your X" cards. The Transient - I think poison works, but I've also had it happen with a Body Slam deck. Didn't end up using Echo Form though, but I think it might be hard to get this without Eye of Snecko. It cost 0 on the turn, and I managed to recycle it with Hologram. Neon - Yeah, I had an Eye of Snecko run with Meteor. I think this one isn't too hard to get if the deck comes together. Watcher can get there with lots of Flurry of Blows and/or Weaves. Infinity - This just kind of happened while playing normally, but Silent is a good choice. If it's a fight you can stall out forever, you could whittle down a deck with True Grit+ as well. Purity - Yup! I think I just exhausted a ton with Fiend Fire and such. I haven't gotten all the achievements, but here's what ended up happening for the ones I got:

Minimalist - Beat the game with a 5 card deck or smaller Pen nib + necronomicon + whirlwind + chemical X? Or something like that. You are nothing - Defeat a boss on turn 1 Some sort of combo with echo form, meteor, and hologram? I can't really see this happening without snecko eye, unless you get some sort of bonkers draw with double energy, that "evoke next ord X times" card, etc. I guess you get a ton of card draw, shivs, energy, and just get lucky for a turn? I recently decided to take a look at the achievements, and damn if some of them don't have me stumped. I'd rather not reach the end of the game if I'm not going to be strong enough to win it all-or at least have a chance-so really it's better if I die early when things aren't panning out. Other times, I die because I targeted elite enemies too aggressively, hoping for a key relic drop (if you haven't played, relics are items with passive effects that can completely change the deck you build).ĭying can be frustrating in Slay the Spire, but these are calculated deaths, and that softens them a lot. Sometimes, I start building a deck that I know will be weak until I find the right card, and just don't find it before eating dirt. To that end, plenty of my runs do end in the first or second act, because you don't become a god without taking risks.
